dilemma

there is a small mess in the corner .. it's hardly noticeable .. in order to clean it up you have to make an even bigger mess .. now that bigger mess will slowly fade away into nothing within no more than a week .. but while it's there during the week .. there is no way to clean it up .. you can only watch it slowly dissipate ..

last weekend

last weekend i went on a diving trip with some people from work .. we don't exactly work together but we all work at the same company .. i know some of them better than others .. also some people brought their cousins .. anyway .. it was lovely .. i was seasick for the first part of the trip but i took some pills and a short nap and i was good for the rest of the day .. anyway i decided i want to learn to scuba .. every time the guys would dive and come back up and start conversing i would get so jealous .. also they come up with all this fish that they caught .. anyway i wasn't the only one who didn't dive .. there were about ten of us who didn't .. and ten who did .. i did snorkel a bit though .. was nice i got to see some coral and some fish .. very nice .. anyway it was nice there was music on the boat one of the guys had this cool bose ipod dock .. and we grilled the fish that they caught and also chicken .. all in all it was a nice trip .. good escape .. i suggested we do paintball sometime ..

i was crossing the street to my car .. i was carrying two bags of takeout .. one was dinner .. the other was dessert .. and as i weaved my way through the oncoming traffic to reach the other side .. there was this lady in a car .. she was riding shotgun .. not sure if she was the guy's wife or sister or girlfriend or what .. anyway we made eye contact .. and i tell you she literally twisted her neck to maintain that eye contact as long as possible as the car passed me by .. and i did my part by staring right back into her eyes .. and that my friends .. was the highlight of my day .. i know .. i should get married right ..

nice animation movie .. it's not from pixar though .. still good so whatever .. basically you have these forest animals who discover a suburban neighborhood .. and they discover suburban food .. caffeinated drinks .. potato chips .. popcorn .. cookies .. so anyway they decide it tastes better than the dirt and bark they're so used to .. and so it's like a bank heist movie except they're robbing the suburbs of their food .. and their leader is a raccoon who is having a bit of a moral dilemma .. all around it was quite entertaining .. it was a light wholesome movie .. but it's not only for kids although you will wish you were a kid watching this movie .. i reckon it would've been so entertaining to watch this as a kid .. 10/10 ..

hotel memories

five years ago i was in this same hotel .. it had been quite a day .. a lot of emotions .. i was still a virgin then .. no not in the sexual way .. in the job way .. i was still a fresh graduate .. aside from the one month joke of an internship i did as a university requirement i had never worked a day in my life .. i was in jeddah doing job interviews .. which did not work out .. one of them was particularly brutal .. well here i am five years later back working in this city so if at first you don't succeed .. funny enough .. back in high school i stayed at the same hotel as part of a school field trip .. that was like ten years ago or more .. it was the school soccer team and basketball team .. good times .. and now here i am .. a grown ass man .. back at the same hotel .. having lunch with the rest of the training group .. our company office is a few minutes away ..
i think back to the person i was when we stayed here back in school .. and the person i was when i stayed here back when i was in town looking for a job .. and the person i am now .. oh jundi .. you're getting old ..

watched this movie last night .. it's an indie film first of all .. very low budget .. it stars patton oswalt as a diehard giants fan .. that's the new york giants for you ignorants .. they are an nfl team .. but more than that .. he's kind of a loser .. also his family sees him as one .. he has a meaningless job as a parking tollbooth operator .. he lives with his mother .. and well he's patton oswalt so he's short and fat .. the highlight of his day is calling in the local sports radio show and giving speeches about how great the giants are .. anyway so as not to give the whole movie away he has an "incident" that makes him grow up a little bit .. it's not a comedy it's actually pretty dark .. but i enjoyed it very much .. 8/10 ..

there is this brand that is part of our company's luxury portfolio .. it's called jay strongwater .. they make luxury gift items .. like vases and trays and mirrors and little decorations .. as the inbound manager for the company i deal with shipments all the time .. it's kind of my job .. every shipment must go through me before it can go to the market .. my favorite part is dousing myself with all the perfume that we receive .. i've become an expert on perfumes .. which i knew nothing about till i joined them .. i mean i was never one to buy perfumes .. i occasionally used to buy some back in college when going through duty free .. but that was it .. but now i would say i'm kind of an expert .. here are some of my favorites .. lacoste blanc .. chanel platinum egoiste .. everything carolina herrera .. polo blue .. chanel allure homme sport .. everything armani .. they have a new one called armani code sport which smells wonderful .. but we don't have all the brands .. like we don't have boss .. but anyway .. i digress .. back to jay strongwater .. a shipment came in for them recently .. and i got to see some of it .. the stuff is truly beautiful .. if i ever get engaged i'm going to get my fiance a gift made by those guys .. it would make a nice decoration for our house later on so it's kind of a gift for both of us .. here is an example of the kind of things they make ..
