so yahoo is always running these silly stories on their homepage .. something like kardashian rocks new haircut at premiere or some stupid shit like that .. anyway .. so here was one that caught my eye today .. megan fox .. yes that megan fox .. says that "I was never the pretty girl" .. no dear megan .. you have always been pretty .. maybe you haven't always felt pretty .. but trust me you have always been pretty .. it's not like you blossomed into this super bombshell after graduating highschool .. don't you just love these hollywood starlets who try to seem more human by saying dumb shit like that .. oh i'm such a geek .. oh i was never pretty .. OH PLEASE!

tales of a working bachelor

there is this brand that is part of our company's luxury portfolio .. it's called jay strongwater .. they make luxury gift items .. like vases and trays and mirrors and little decorations .. as the inbound manager for the company i deal with shipments all the time .. it's kind of my job .. every shipment must go through me before it can go to the market .. my favorite part is dousing myself with all the perfume that we receive .. i've become an expert on perfumes .. which i knew nothing about till i joined them .. i mean i was never one to buy perfumes .. i occasionally used to buy some back in college when going through duty free .. but that was it .. but now i would say i'm kind of an expert .. here are some of my favorites .. lacoste blanc .. chanel platinum egoiste .. everything carolina herrera .. polo blue .. chanel allure homme sport .. everything armani .. they have a new one called armani code sport which smells wonderful .. but we don't have all the brands .. like we don't have boss .. but anyway .. i digress .. back to jay strongwater .. a shipment came in for them recently .. and i got to see some of it .. the stuff is truly beautiful .. if i ever get engaged i'm going to get my fiance a gift made by those guys .. it would make a nice decoration for our house later on so it's kind of a gift for both of us .. here is an example of the kind of things they make ..

cannot kill the battery

i think my ipod battery died .. you know normally when the battery runs out you plug it in and it will play dead for a bit .. simply saying please wait very low battery then after a while it lights up and charges normally .. but it's been stuck on the please wait very low battery forever .. almost a day now .. so something tells me everything is not alright .. anyway i've had it for 5 years .. i guess all those years of leaving it in my car to bake under the sun have finally caught up to it .. normally i would be devastated but everything that was on there i have on my laptop .. so i'll just buy a new one .. with more memory this time .. happy trails black ipod .. the only sad thing is it was a graduation gift from my older brother .. oh well ..

brother from another mother

my friend is coming to stay with me this weekend ... picking him up at the airport on wednesday inshala ... this guy is my best friend ... love this guy ... we met in university and were good friends then ... later when i moved to riyadh we reunited ... we used to go out every weekend during the two years i spent there ... anyway i haven't seen him since i moved to jeddah ... i'm kind of excited that he's coming ... really looking forward to it ... the only thing that can make this any better is if he were a hot female ...

there is this game i'm really into these days ... the new need for speed ... suffice to say it's effing awesome ...
anyway one of the events you can play is hot pursuit ... and you can be the racer or the cop ... for some reason i enjoy being the cop more ... i think it might be because as the cop your goal is to wreck everyone and shut down the race .... whereas when playing as the racer your focus is more on evasion and reaching the finish line ... in other words being the cop is more offensive whereas being the racer is more defensive ...
in reality though ... i imagine i would rather be the racer ... sticking it to the man so to speak ..

thanks to yahoo i know that tony romo got engaged to candice crawford ... romo is the cowboys quarterback who previously dated jessica simpson ... anyway ... here's why i mention it ... it turns out candice crawford who is a former miss missouri is chace crawford's sister ... now i'm straight but even i think he's a handsome guy ... which brings me to my point ... damn that family has some good genes ...
