office talk

i was having lunch with boss and his boss today ... as we often do ... we have lunch together at the office since we are "too busy" to take a lunch break like normal people ... i happened to mention that i was going to ikea straight after work ... and so the subject of my apartment came up ...

well but i went on to explain that the area i lived in riyad was much neater and more affluent ..

"yirham jedak" is a reminder of the area that your grandparents used to inhabit.. I would take it as a joke, as I'm sure he meant it. However where my grandparents lived is completely irrelevant!

They lived in a very modest neighborhood in the east quarter of Irbid. I loved their home and the big lime tree in the small backyard.
