Finals

the conference finals are now ready to commence ...

in the east it's the celtics facing the pistons ... and in the west it's the spurs facing the lakers ...

so i was right about 3 out of 4 ... although given their history, it was silly of me to pick the magic over the pistons ... this is detroit's sixth straight trip to the conference finals ...

so ...

i think the spurs will advance ... the lakers are good and all but ... i don't know ... the spurs are the defending champs ... they had to beat the suns and the hornets to get here ... how can you not pick them ... then again the lakers are the number one seed ... and they have the league mvp ... and phil jackson ... maybe i should change my pick ... it really could go either way ... but no i'm going to stick with san antonio.

the pistons will also advance ... the celtics inability to win a home game so far is not a good sign ... again this series could go either way but i think detroit is mentally and physically tougher ... plus i really want boston to lose ... it will be crucial for detroit to steal one of the first two games in boston though.

and in the end the spurs will repeat ...
