Spoke Too Soon

i say this with full hockey goalie gear on .. because i expect tomatoes and bullets and who knows what else to start flying after i say it .. but i'm not getting the optra ..

let's all let out a collective groan together ..

good .. now that that's out of the way let me tell you what happened ..

i was already starting to have second thoughts about it but i shrugged it off as buyer's remorse .. anyway i called the guy to ask him when can we close the deal .. our previous agreement was that the sale would take place this week .. but he said that something had come up .. that he needed the car a bit longer .. how much longer i asked .. he said he couldn't give it to me before eid .. deal's off i told him .. it was bittersweet .. bitter because it meant that this would not be the week i finally get a car .. and sweet because i was already feeling an urge to back out of the agreement and he gave me the perfect excuse ..

to be honest .. i'm kind of glad .. and relieved .. i was not digging the optra .. i was starting to feel like i had settled ..

and so .. our brave hero continues his quest for a car .. will he succeed?

dear god .. please give me the strength and patience to do this ..
