i had an interview today with the gm of a company that shall remain nameless ... imagine my surprise when i walked in to his office to find the former director of sales at the company i currently work at sitting there ... i knew he had joined them ... but i didn't know he was the gm ... anyway he said he would forward my cv to the concerned manager ... and for most of the interview we just gossiped about the company ... who got fired ... who got promoted ... so on ...

Yes, I just wanted to tell you that I decided to hire you. It was a pleasure talking to you and gossiping... hehehe... I will be contacting you tommorow afternoon for a follow-up. You need to sign papers etc, happy to have you in my company!
