well ive been mostly downloading series this time around .. but here are the movies i dled this break ..

I've seen most of them. Boys don't cry stands out, it's very tragic and depressing, the kind of film that haunts you later on. I like Cast away "can't believe you have not seen it yet". Hustle and flow is shit..pardon my french..I hate gangsta movies..I somehow don't relate to the brothers who are mainly thugs and drug users :S
You still didn't tell me what sort of movies you like? If you're at the theatre and there is a romantic comdedy, a horror a drama and an artsy foreign film..which one do you opt to see?? "did not mention action because it's unmentionable :p"
i dont watch foreign films cuz in general i dont like reading subtitles to understand what ppl are saying .. romantic movies are a no-no in general although sometimes they are good but more often than not they are just fantasy only-in-the-movies-would-this-happen style which i dont appreciate .. horror can be good .. but i like drama the best i guess ..
did u see martyrs btw .. its supposed to be really messed up ..
I don't like "romantic" also, on screen romances strike me as fake and superficial..much like real life romances :O
Martyrs, I have not seen it. It's french is it not?? which means subtitle. I once had a prejudice against non english movies but you know after watching a few I decided that the language has little effect on the movie..unless it's a comdey in which case one should not even bother! Yes it is messed up it seems..the sort of movies I like..i'm gonna get it then!
Julia is a nice drama..an alcoholic forty something woman who kidnaps a child to blackmail his grandfather..it all turns very messy and goes colossaly wrong. THe way Julia just passes out then comes to is fascinating and pathetic..you don't know whether to hate or love Julia..I felt both emotions at once..it was weird.
