Yesterday my son opened the door for the trick or treaters and was overwhelmed by their number that he ran inside and they barged in! I was held up inside and I heard voices of kids inside the apt. They were yelling "Trick or treat" and laughing and they got inside as far as the tv..my son reports. 5 min later I came out and when they glimpsed me they ran out!! He had given them his own candy bag that he got in school!! I am so NOT getting candy next year too hehe.
The kids in our building and some neigboring buildings do that. I went with my kids trick or treating the years before but this year I announced there will no more of that. IT's nothing to do with religion muslims and christians do it..it's just for fun.
It rained at night like crazy and I was stranded in Hamra st with no umbrella and seifi clothes :eek: But the whole day it was nice and sunny.
well ya i know its for fun ive trick or treated many times and i know that halloween is not a religious holiday .. anyway i never saw anyone trick or treating in beirut .. i remember ppl would dress up and go to monot and such .. but i never saw kids trick or treating o_0

ppl trick or treat in beirut??? i dont recall seeing that when i was living there .. and u live in a sunni part of town .. hmmmm o_0
