being a bachelor i have iftar at restaurants quite often ... a couple of observations ...
crepaway ... the iftar offer is 44 riyals ... that includes drink, soup, salad, main dish, and dessert ... no 15% service charge ... just 44 riyals ... yet if you get soup, salad, and a drink ... they don't consider that as the offer and they charge you full price ... that's 39 riyals ... 33 for the soup and salad and 6 for the drink ... but there is 15% service charge ... which equals 5.85 riyals ... plus the 39 that comes out to 44.85 ... so it's actually more expensive ... so you're better off getting a main dish and not eating it just to save 0.85 ... yeah that makes perfect sense ...
tony roma's ... the iftar offer is free soup and salad with your order of any steak, ribs, chicken, or seafood platter ... as far as the soup is concerned ... it's good but they use shot glasses as bowls ... they really are that small ... then the salad ... you can either choose the house salad or the caesar salad ... both of them are just a pile of lettuce on a plate with dressing ... and some croutons ... well the house salad also has a couple of tomato slices ... so to recap basically their offer consists of a shot glass of soup and a pile of lettuce ... for free ...

Crepaway deal is pretty good. Full meal for 44 riyals, which is about 12dollars, not bad at all. If you were to order the same items here you would have to pay at least between $20 and $25 plus 7%tax.
If you order and couldn't eat it all, don't they pack the rest for you to take home like they do here?

yeah crepaway deal is the best one ive seen .. and of course u can get ur leftovers for takeaway if u like.

well noura thanks for the offer but there are two problems ..
one i cant cook to save my life ..
two and more importantly .. my apartment is not mafroosheh .. when i got it there was nothing in there .. and i never bothered furnishing the kitchen .. so i dont have an oven .. i do have a microwave though :D
