I've seen some of them, can't believe you've not seen gladiator yet!!
Funny games is particlarily disturbing I really hated it. Eastern promises and Fargo are both brutal but gripping..I love Viggo Mortenson, he's Aragon from lord of the ring. Children of men is also good, kind of depressing tho. 30 days of night?? Disgusting vampire movie..but it does not hurt to watch the beautiful Josh Hartnet. Running with sissors..I don't know..I hated it because I hate dramas about disturbed dysfunctional families. almost famous..well it's just too OLD. MOnster's ball is good, depressing tho. Closer is very good indeed minus the obscene parts :S
Unforgiven?? How come you haven't seen it before?? IT's good but you'd have to put up with the slow pace of a seventies movie :p "or was is it the eighties?? either way it's slow paced which gets a little boring.

btw im about to watch one .. tried watching eraserhead but the sound doesnt work its a bad copy .. so thats one off the list :(

You have to watch Gladiator and eastern promises..The mist and children of men are OK..I didn't like Mystic river.
