by the way

my tv broke down ... it works but when you turn it on half the screen kind of flickers plus a funny smell comes from the tv ... like a burning plastic smell ... i've googled and it appears it's not uncommon ... it's a damaged capacitor or resistor ... there's still a long long time on the warranty so servicing will be free ... but i have to take it in ... and it's rather huge ... so that's going to be kind of a hassle ... i'll just have to watch stuff on my laptop until then ...
