i used to have this quote on my wall back in college ...
“Beauty is unbearable, drives us to despair, offering us for a minute the glimpse of an eternity that we should like to stretch out over the whole of time.”
what i thought it was a rhetorical question .. i guess not ..
well ok to answer u it wouldnt be life as we know it .. its like saying what would life be without pain .. or what would life be without love .. these are core elements of life ..
It's funny that "pain" is the first element on your mind..An old dying suffering man said "I'd take an eternity of suffering in exchange for death any day"! I think that's how we all feel..
