cavs vs. magic

the cavs have two things going for them ... the first being lebron james is on their team ... and the second is that they are well-rested ... they swept the first round and the second round ... orlando on the other hand played six games in the first round ... and just completed a seven game series against the defending champs ... so they have to be a little exhausted ... also two of their stars were not that healthy to begin with coming into the playoffs so all these minutes can't be good for them ... but unlike the former two teams that have been destroyed thus far by cleveland ... orlando will not be swept in this one ... the season series between the two is 2-1 in orlando's favor ... in fact the last season game they played was on april 3rd and saw orlando win by almost 30 points ... and also unlike the former two teams orlando has a dominant big man ... they call him superman ... also known as dwight howard ... who's going to guard him ... that's a big question ... on the other hand who's going to guard lebron ... the cavs are heavily favored in this one and i am very tempted to pick them ... but the magic can pull it off if they can find a way to hold on to their leads ... my heart says orlando but my mind says cleveland ... hmmmm ... i just think cleveland is hungrier ... hmmmmm ... i want to say orlando just because all the experts are picking cleveland but who am i kidding ... cleveland has lebron ... of course they will win ...

nuggets vs. lakers

the nuggets are really on a roll ... they killed dallas just like they killed new orleans ... will they kill the lakers ... let's see ... the lakers have kobe ... gotta respect the kobe ... and gasol ... but somehow i feel that the nuggets big men will beat up on poor pau ... i mean kenyon martin and nene are way tougher than he is ... so bynum really needs to step it up ... looking at the season series the lakers lead 3-1 ... yet the way la has been playing in the playoffs doesn't reflect the superiority they showed during the season so anything's possible ... carmelo's been playing great ... and the nuggets have the advantage at the point guard position ... billups is going to kill derek fisher ... but the lakers are deeper ... i know kobe wants to win a championship without shaq ... so my instinct says lakers ... they have the experience ... but ... nuggets are on a roll man ... they are on fire ... hardly the case for la ... so i'm gonna say the nuggets ...
