so the lebanese elections are in full swing ... the campaigning part that is ... a lot of drama there ... also a lot of this going on ... anyway if you don't know what i am talking about just turn on any lebanese channel and watch their news for a few minutes ... so yeah a lot of parties are announcing their candidates these days ... what is known as illawa2i7 ... or as they pronounce it ... illawayi7 ... anyway ... their speeches remind me of duried lahham's movie il 7dood ... specifically the part when they have the festival towards the end ... when all these leaders are giving fiery speeches ... kalimat mandoob janoobistan ... such a classic movie ... anyway a few minutes later in the movie we discover that those words were nothing more than empty rhetoric ... let's hope that the lebanese people discover that soon too ...

i never ever understand lebanese politics, only a few lebanese do as a matter of fact! and when i watch these political debates on tv, i get lost!
