Hero of the Day

pierre sarkis ... pierre is an instructor of history and cultural studies at lau (lebanese american university) ... he has been working there for 17 years ... he was recently fired for writing this article in the university paper ... now i don't care about lebanese politics but i do admire his courage nonetheless ... we need more intellectuals like this in the arab world ... ones that are not afraid to stand up to the establishment regardless of the consequences ...
