I don't know but if you aren't already in a fight with your freind you will most likely be in one if you do. But if you like the girl and you dont care about loosing the friend then go ahead.
hehe well just to clear things up .. the friend is no longer in my life not cuz we fought just cuz we lost touch .. but if i did hook up with his ex hed find out for sure from her .. but thats a big if so it was more of a hypothetical question .. i doubt it will ever materialize.

also i prefer the term "guy's code".. "boy's code" sounds so juvenile :p but yeah it kind of is part of the code .. there is one rule that says -no offense- bros over hos :D

No I wouldn't mind! Girls have a different mentality. They do not mind stealing their best friend's boy friends, in fact they might plot and scheme to do just that!!
I got a news letter from my little boy's school the other day and it discussed the "boy's code". lol it is quite fascinating how men still stick to the same old code as when they were kids!
And that is one VERY offensive proverb!! Not to mention NOT TRUE!! If a guy really likes a girl he would easily KILL his brother to get her :O
