Jackass
well i spilled water on my laptop and the keyboard stopped working properly ... i just bought this laptop two months ago ... so i took it to the shop ... the guy there assured me that this happens all the time and all it takes is a little fixing that usually doesn't require any formatting so i don't have to worry about losing any data ... unfortunately the warranty doesn't cover clumsiness ... but i googled what to do when you spill water on your laptop so i'll know what to do in case it ever happens again ... hopefully never ...

the same thing happened when I spilled my mug of coffee over my laptop and I didn't even realize it right away (I knocked it over in my slee) so it sat and soaked in for some time. A lot of the keys stopped working. I think I actually had to get a whole new board.
Not a bigger jackass than my disfuntional sister, she put the laptop too close to the heater and the corner of my silky smooth black screen of my screen melted and this baby hasn't been alive for over six months.
Ok i'm gonna go stalk someone else's blog now lol
i just hope it's only the keyboard .. i'll happily pay whatever it costs to fix that .. i'm afraid they'll come back and tell me it's more serious than that :(
