random fact of the day

a syrian embassy will be opening in beirut for the first time in history ... it hasn't officially opened yet but there's a plaque on the building wall and there's a flag hanging outside and all that ... supposedly the opening will take place once the christmas holidays are over ... but anyway who cares ... here's the thing ... the embassy is in hamra ... specifically in makdessi street ... or as the locals call it shari3 il ma2disi ... which is the same street i lived in when i was living in lebanon ...
