Jordan picked up its first ever International Emmy Award on Monday night.
It won in the Telenovela category for Al-Ijtiyah (The Invasion) a Palestinian love story that takes place against the backdrop of an Israeli incursion.

ironically ... the series barely received any publicity in the arab world and was only shown on a few channels ... it can't be because it was poorly made ... i mean it won an emmy right ... so what could possibly be the reason ...
