The Vatican's newspaper has finally forgiven John Lennon for declaring that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, calling the remark a "boast" by a young man grappling with sudden fame.

meanwhile ... they still haven't forgiven cardinal peter for the time he drank the last cup of coffee and didn't make a new pot ... or bishop angelo for the time he used the last toilet paper and didn't replace the roll ...
