you were at a store ... and the cashier forgot to scan one of the items that you wanted to buy ... and you realized this as you left the store ... would you go back and say something ... or would you keep walking ... and i'm not talking about a stick of gum ... let's say the item costs over a hundred dollars ...

I would care if it was an expensive item or being bought from the small grocery next door, its still unethical to have something you didnt pay for.
yes ur right but what i meant was that the store probably wont care much if an item that costs one dollar or less went unaccounted for ..
