well things have calmed down in lebanon ... both sides agreed to go back to what things were like before all the drama started ... meaning they will go back to being bitter enemies who can't stand each other as opposed to being sworn enemies who want to kill each other ... basically the government rescinded its boneheaded decisions ... and the opposition removed its gunmen and roadblocks ... however the people who were killed during the clashes cannot be brought back to life ... so they will remain dead ...
right now i guess you could say it's like someone pressed pause ... whether he will press play or stop next remains to be seen ... but i wouldn't breath a sigh of relief just yet ... because things are still very tense ... besides let's not forget the mecca agreement ...
anyway ... for the time being ... things have calmed down ... the two sides are now doing their fighting via their media outlets ... which is still pretty bad ... but at least nobody dies ...
anyway they better agree on a president soon ... otherwise you can expect round 2 ...
