Walk Hard

i saw walk hard yesterday ... it is a parody movie of walk the line and ray and all those other musical biopics ... i guess that's pretty clear from the poster above which is a reference to jim morrison's famous photo ...

anyway the movie stars john c. reilly as dewey cox ... and while reilly is better known for his dramatic roles, he is just as good as a comedian ... in the movie we watch john as he lives the rock and roll life ... from his humble beginnings as an aspiring rockstar who leaves his little town to pursue his dreams until the very end when he is presented a lifetime achievement award by pearl jam's eddie vedder ... with everything in between like the drugs and the rehab and the sex and the groupies and the bitter divorces and temptations on the road and becoming a washed up has-been and every other cliche you can think of ... reilly does a lot of singing throughout the movie and the songs are actually pretty cool ...

personally i thought that it's a funny movie despite the fact that it was a box office bomb ... plus jenna fischer is absolutely gorgeous ... although it is rated r so the humor can be quite raunchy at times ... plus there is some nudity scattered throughout the movie ... so i don't recommend it for conservative people ...
