"If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed ... It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks."
George W. Bush, speaking during a video-conference with US military and civilian personnel stationed in Afghanistan.

-Making history...by killing innocence daily.
Right. The Pharaoh of Egypt; Firoun, made history too. So did Hitler and other butchers. But I suppose no one's talking about what KIND of history...
-Fantastic experience.
How fantastic really can be judged by the number of US soldiers who return to the USA psychologically demented and the number of nightmares they have on a nightly basis.
-Exciting and romantic.
Indeed. Watching blood and gore decorated lands must really be an exciting experience.
-Helping this young democracy succeed.
