(Yannis Behrakis/Reuters) well march 11 is creeping up ... that's the scheduled date for the lebanese presidential elections (after 15 postponements) ... i bet a million dollars that it's not gonna happen ...
if you think about it march 11 would be a cool date if it actually did happen though ... why you ask hehe ... well because you know it's like march 8 vs march 14 right ... and so march 11 is in the middle ... and by electing a president on that date they would have reached a MIDDLE ground ... it would be very poetic i think ... to the point where you could even call it cheesy ... but it's not gonna happen like i predicted ...
see here's what the problem is ...
it's not about syria and iran ...
or hariri ...
or the USS Cole ...
or hizballa's weapons ...
the problem simply ...
is that lebanese politicians love to talk ... they talk and talk and talk ... they are talking all fucking day long on tv ... give me a break ... we get it ... okay ... you can't pick a president ... ahhh it's like one of those soap operas that never end ... and each party has their own fucking channel ... even tayyar has a channel LOL ... but i digress ...
so they're willing to talk all day on tv ... but they are not willing to talk to each other ...
just sit down and talk to each other ... please please please ... for the love of humanity ... do us all a favor ...
why do you have to wait for amr mousa to come back so you can sit down and talk ... why do you need mubadara arabiyeh and mubadara orobiyeh ... you solve it yourselves ... don't you talk about siyadeh and istiqlal ... well don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk ...
JUST SIT DOWN AND TALK TO EACH OTHER ... IT MIGHT TAKE A FEW HOURS ... MAYBE A FEW DAYS ... BUT JUST DO IT ...
hey look i'm not judging you ... i mean i'm palestinian ... look how good we are at sitting down and talking .. we're in the middle of a fucking civil war LOL ... but hey you guys already know what that's like don't you :P
anyway ... just please pretty please sit down and talk ... who knows i might like to visit lebanon soon for some reason o_O

and one more thing before i close ... the school that was attacked in jerusalem last night ... a lot of people are talking about oh it's a school oh they're just teenagers oh boohoo oh look pictures of blood-stained scriptures ... dude ... they killed like 150 of us over the past week ... so unless you're also willing to cry about the people who died in gaza ... i'd advise you to shut the fuck up!
