well it's kind of been stuck in my head for the past couple of days ... long story ...
anyway the meaning of the song has been disputed ... are they talking about the rotation of a joint ... or are they talking about an orgy ... another theory is that the band was kind of going through a rough patch at the time and they all came together to write the song ... thus the whole thing about how much better it is when everybody is in ...
i should probably tell you that throughout the song all he does is repeat ...

now the lyrics could go either way ... but i think that the video seems to support the orgy theory ...
anyway ... like i said it's been stuck in my head for the past couple of days ... so much so that i used the phrase "Are You In" as my status on msn ...
which brings me to the point of this pointless post ...
today someone - a girl mind you - on my list asked me what's up with the are you in ... what is that supposed to mean ... and i told her it's just the name of a song that's stuck in my head ... and she said ok good i thought it was something naughty ...
so maybe the song really is about an orgy ... or maybe she just needs to get her mind out of the gutter ...

She doesn't need to get her mind out of the gutter; she needs to stop judging everyone and anyone with the same eye that most women use on men. I feel for her. Poor thing.
