in late february 2008, the us president decided to send the uss cole destroyer warship to patrol in the lebanese waters because he was worried about the unresolved political conflict between the lebanese government and the opposition. due to popular lebanese demand and facing the increasingly worrying situation of national tension caused by the 2008 us presidency race we the lebanese people are sending this petition to our government in order to send a lebanese navy canoe to patrol the coasts of new york and florida (2 key strategic states in the elections). this is just a token of love and solidarity from the lebanese people to the us administration and to mr bush who have never let us down in times of need.people!unite! peace, stability and democracy will prevail!
