arabs have this odd habit of shooting firearms when they're happy ... i wonder what it is that makes someone go "i'm so happy i could unload an entire magazine" ...
now there are several occasions where it is appropriate to bust a cap ... graduations ... weddings ... after the national team has just won an important soccer match ...
even saddam used to stand there and fire a shotgun into the air during rallies ...
years ago when diana was announced as the winner of superstar ... people in jordan went nuts ... my youngest brother was outside on the balcony watching the insanity when he was hit by a stray bullet ... it got him in the thigh ... they had to take him to the hospital obviously but he was fine afterwards ... he even kept the bullet for a while ... and later on he even met diana on a plane but he didn't tell her the story ... speaking of diana ... have you seen what she looks like now ... she lost a lot of weight ... definitely liposuction ... but i digress ...
now in lebanon it seems that people also fire shots when their favorite politician appears on tv ... recently i saw something on future news where they brought a reportage about a lady who got hit by a stray bullet while walking in the street ... apparently people were happy that nabih berri was on tv giving an interview ... then a few days later i saw a similar reportage on almanar about a young boy who got hit by a stray bullet when sanyora gave his televised speech a few days ago ...

Wow, imagine if someone was shot at a wedding or something; it would turn into a funeral. And imagine if the person not only got injured but died! How would the shooter/s feel then? I seriously hate this stupid habit.
