there is a lot of talk these days about who's going to show up at bashar's party ...
so far lebanon is the only country that will not be attending at all ... saudi arabia, egypt, and jordan (the moderates) will be sending low-level delegations to represent them ... morocco is doing the same for some reason ...
now as arab citizens ... we never believed in these summits anyway so we really don't give a shit who attends and who doesn't ... i know i don't ... and now it seems that our leaders no longer believe in these summits either ... this marks a new low for us which is kind of ironic when you consider the meaning of the word summit ...
London-based pan-Arab newspaper Asharq al-Awsat on Wednesday quoted Syrian Vice President Faruq al-Shara as saying that "countries that do not attend the summit will regret it," without elaborating.

i believe the syrian vice president was referring to the goodie bags that those countries will be missing out on ...

I read yesterday that the outcome of the summit has been decided before it even started by the west..so why bother ??
As for the statement of al-shara,Allah yestor !!especially if he said it in Ghawar and abou 3antar tone ...
