Revenge

once upon a time .. january 2007 to be exact .. i was in jeddah .. trying to find work .. i was still an unemployed fresh graduate at the time .. that was eleven months ago .. i did some interviews and in one instance i took a test .. it was an aptitude test .. if you did well on the test you were granted an interview .. well i passed the test .. and i got an email telling me i would be contacted soon to arrange for an interview .. but they never called .. or did they .. they say they did .. i don't know .. what i do know is that i emailed them twice and they never replied ..
anyway .. today .. i got a call from the same company .. the guy was telling me i did well on their test and that they would like to see me ..
i was like dude i took that test almost a year ago .. why did it take you so long to call ..
he asked me where i took the test .. i don't know why he felt that piece of information was important but i answered ..
i told him i took it in jeddah in january .. then i repeated my question .. why did it take you so long to call ..
he said well we tried calling you but you didn't answer ..
i see .. and now you are trying again in december .. you could've emailed me .. i emailed you ..
he said something along the lines of sorry i don't know the specifics ..
i told him well sorry i'm working now and you missed out .. not interested .. bye ..
it felt so good telling him off .. i have been carrying a grudge against that company all these months ..
