Reflecting

there is this store called extra here in ksa .. they sell electronics .. all kinds .. it is a huge store .. and they are having a huge sale these days .. or at least that's the way they are hyping it .. UP TO 50% .. that's what the promotions are saying .. emphasis on the words UP TO .. anyway .. so it is really close to where i work .. within walking distance .. so i heard about the sale today and i went with a couple of coworkers to take a look .. the first thing that we noticed was the amount of cars parked outside .. it was insane .. and then once we were inside .. we noticed the huge mob of people crowding the salesmen .. it was crazy .. i went to check out the laptops since i am looking to buy one .. i was disappointed .. the biggest discount was 6% .. so if the laptop cost $1500 it now cost $1410 .. which doesn't do me any good .. anyway i was really annoyed by all the people there .. and i left .. but as i was leaving i noticed something that made me go hmmm .. there is a booth inside the store .. located right at the entrance .. it is a da'wa booth you could say .. playing quran .. distributing islamic pamphlets and books written in various languages .. FOR FREE .. yet nobody even noticed it .. the man just sat there .. watching the shoppers pass him by .. it was very poetic i thought .. in a material vs spiritual kind of way ..
