temptation .. i wanna talk about temptation .. if i wanted to be poetic about it i would call it dancing with the devil .. that's satan .. not a figurative devil .. but literally satan himself .. so temptation is a real bitch .. it's like you know it's bad .. cuz satan's your dance partner .. so that can't be good .. unless you're actually a satanist .. but i digress .. so i was saying you know it's bad for you .. so you tell yourself this is bad for me i shouldn't do it .. but you see others dancing with him .. and it looks like so much fun .. and you feel left out .. and you start thinking why am i not dancing with devil .. it looks like a lot of fun .. oh right cuz it's bad for me .. it's not cuz i don't know how to dance with the devil .. CUZ I CAN .. i just choose not to .. then another voice comes and says yeah keep telling yourself that loser .. that's actually satan's voice ..

aha .. but what is temptation really .. isn't it just another word for sin .. o_O
i agree, it IS sin most of the time.. its easier to yield in, but its so much harder (and more of an acheivement) to keep on resisting.
No it's not! You're tempted to kill somebody..that is not the same as killing them :O
What is "sin"?? disobeying God's orders or betraying your own morals?? If it's the former then, tough luck, many things are haram without any logical explanation. But if you live by your own morals then logic and reason will help you decide whether to yeild or to hold back.
