Go Figure

what are the odds that someone purchases a winning lottery ticket .. very slim right .. but what are the odds that the person who purchases the winning lottery ticket is also someone who is not allowed to "gamble, purchase lottery tickets or visit an establishment where gaming is conducted, including restaurants where Keno may be played" because he is on probation .. very very slim .. but that's exactly what happened .. now that is irony ..
the only thing weirder than the story is the guy involved .. here is his picture ..

The report says he was in a mental hospital as part of his treatment Mo!

That's really kind of sad-he looks rather weird for sure but it's still sad if he's mentally ill. He was on probation for robbing a bank-I don't think you get sent to a mental hospital and released on probation for such a thing unless there's something else going on here. I think quite frankly, it is a case of American mental health care gone very wrong-and now he might go back to jail for buying a lottery ticket PLUS he'll never see a cent of the money.

ya it also says it was unarmed robbery .. maybe he is mentally ill .. it is sad i guess but what really got me was the irony of the whole situation ..

What will get me is if he goes back to jail with NO money. You can bet he's down and out and the money could have at least gone into some kind of account to take care of him. That would be the RIGHT thing to do. You're right, it's ironic. Blessings Mo...
