i just finished reading this book .. i loved it .. in fact i added it to my favorite books on my profile page .. i highly recommend it .. it's dark .. it's funny .. it's profound .. it's amazing .. and the best part is that it's only 104 pages long so you can finish it in a couple of days.

here is a brief plot summary i found online ..
City Of Truth is about a city named Veritas where people are conditioned from childhood to only tell the truth. The main character, Jack, has a son that contracts a rare disease. He comes to believe that the only cure for his son is positive thinking and so he goes on a crusade to rid himself of his conditioning so he can lie to his son and tell him he’s going to be alright.
