Cultural Commentary

i got this photo on my email today .. it's taken in beirut .. that's hamra if i'm not wrong .. so apparently it's some kind of showing a support for the troops thing what with the whole nahr el bared disaster .. it would be nice if they supported their resistance the way they are supporting their army .. anyway .. i lived in lebanon for four years and i know that the army is not respected very much .. it was even suspect .. like it is a syrian tool of oppression or so some would say .. but after the syrians withdrew the army became heroes all of a sudden .. but anyway .. that's not the point .. this is not supposed to be a political post .. i just wanted to say that the above photo demonstrates one of the things i hate about lebanese people .. they can be gay sometimes .. and lately they've developed an obsession for organizing some protest or rally everytime they wake up .. hey i lived there for four years i even stayed during the war of 2006 i really do love the place i'm not trying to bash lebanon here .. but i gotta say .. they (lebanese people) can be a little gay sometimes .. no offense .. even their accent can be a little gay sometimes .. and lebanese frenchies are the gayest .. and ok i'll stop making comments offensive to lebanese people now .. but i'm serious .. i don't know there is like a recessive gay gene in the lebanese culture or something.

yes i just proceeded to label lebanese culture as a little gay .. but at the same time i have to say lebanon defeated israel in 2000 and in 2006 .. there's nothing gay about that .. real men did that .. respect.
