if you haven't heard .. tony blair .. yes that tony blair .. has been named the new envoy for the mideast quartet .. and no the mideast quartet is not an orchestra .. it's a group of "peace" mediators — the U.S., EU, U.N. and Russia .. i don't know how or why Russia is in there but anyway here's the thing .. does anyone else see the irony in that Britain is expected to solve the palestinian problem .. you know seeing how they created it in the first place.
fortunately tony knows that his task is not going to be an easy one .. he has already said that his mission is going to be "tricky".
