Fighting has continued in Gaza after the interior minister resigned from the two-month-old Palestinian unity government and at least three people were killed in earlier violence.
The number of people killed since fighting between members of the Hamas and Fatah factions erupted on Friday has risen to eight.

Israel's security cabinet has approved more assassinations of suspected Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip. Officials say the decision is necessary to stop rocket attacks on southern Israel.
