so i finished reading the devil wears prada .. and i have to say i feel very emasculated .. at times i felt like i was reading cosmopolitan .. but nevertheless i have to admit that it is very well-written and that it was fun to read .. definitely not a must-read the way the autobiography of malcolm x was .. but it is a nice book and i do recommend it .. and that's all i will say .. now i just need to download the movie so that my experience will be complete.
i need something heavy for my next read .. i'm thinking dostoevsky o_O

May i suggest 1984?? it's not exactly light, that is if you haven't read it before.
hmm .. i already read crime and punishment .. i read it freshman yr it was required for a course .. we read a lot of nice books for that course .. metamorphosis by kafka, crime and punishment, stranger by camus, doll house by ibsen .. i also read house of the dead by dostoevsky on my own a few years ago .. anyway yeah so i already read crime and punishment i don't think i'll be reading it again since i already know what happens.
1984 is on my list actually but i can't find it!!! .. i'll probably go for something by dostoevsky but not crime and punishment .. sorry :o
