Restaurant Poetry

i had lunch at a restaurant called madeena today .. which means "our past" in arabic .. it's a theme restaurant .. the building is built like an old saudi mud house .. even the faucets are built to look like old water pots ( jarra ) .. they have booths which are like the inside of a bedouin tent .. the waiters are dressed in old traditional wear .. they even have a '52 cadillac parked outside .. overall it is a pretty cool place .. and the food was delicious .. there's some pictures on my flickr page if anyone is interested .. but anyway that's not the point .. don't worry i wouldn't waste your time with a boring story about where i ate .. all that was just an introduction :P

so inside the booth they had this paper on the wall .. with a bunch of things written on it .. like they have food manners written on there and what not .. but at the bottom they have some custom poetry which i thought was kind of funny .. it goes ..

Mohammed,
I LITERALLY cannot believe it about this restaraunt since when I was there back in the days of the dinosaurs NO such thing existed. We were SO excited when a pizza place opened in Khobar that you could call ahead, order your pizza and drive up to a window to get. It was the best thing EVER. The only decent restaurant was at a hotel which is more than likely non-existant anymore. Now you have REALLY got my curiosity in high gear and I am waiting anxiously for pictures. PS, I am feeling REALY old!
