In this photo released by Sotheby's in New York, a 2 1/4-inch Faberge chair is shown. The chair sold at auction for $2.28 million on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, surpassing the $1 million pre-sale estimate. The cost included a buyer's fee of 20 percent for the first $500,000 and 12 percent thereafter.

What would you use a chair like this for?! It doesn't even fit a Barbie!
Imagine how many cups of coffee $2.28 million could get....
Or, on a more serious note, how many lives it could save...
well you know it's a faberge .. those things are hot items.
me personally i don't care who made the thing .. nothing that small is worth that much money :|
