I am reading the autobiography of Malcolm X these days .. an amazing book which I advise everyone to read .. I am pretty far in it but I still have a long way to go .. I am expecting him to land in prison any page now .. so anyway the book is full of deep thoughts .. and I chose this one to share .. it's very .. umm .. what's the word .. deep :)
Have you ever been so sure you did something that you never would have thought it again - unless it was brought up again? Then you start trying to mentally confirm - and you're only about half-sure?

pru: i dont blame you for being confused .. it is a bit tricky but if you know why he said it you would understand it easily .. of course i cant explain to you why he said it because its a long story :p .. suffice to say malcolm was always high during this period of his life which explains why his mind is a little foggy.
basically what he means is have you ever been so sure you did something that you would never doubt that you did it .. you would never even entertain the thought of doubting that you it because you are so sure you did it .. but when someone calls you out suddenly you are not so certain.
masalan .. lets say you are sure you called your mom on mothers day .. you are 100% sure .. you dont even wonder did i remember to call my mom .. why .. because you are sure .. ok but then your mom calls you and says pru laish ma 7akaiti ma3i 3al mothers day .. and you think what i thought i did .. im sure i did .. or am i???

umhmmm..he was always hiigh..well that perfectly explains it :D and if my mom should ask me why i didn't call i shall tell her that SHE must have forgotten. Let's say every other member in the family came to phone and told me that the phone was off that day, i'll think they are just joking, the whole world could stand there and tell me i haven't called..and i'll just think that this is some kind of weird conspiracy against me :'(

I don't like biographies..but i'll look into it. Is it a big book??
pru i am not a fan of biographies either .. actually i think this is the first time i ever read one .. my book collection is 99% fiction.
just consider what an amazing man malcolm was and also consider that this is an AUTObiography .. it really is amazing .. i am loving it and i still havent even reached the part where he goes to jail and wakes up and nation of islam and and and .. i highly recommend the book .. and yes its quite big actually .. you can just watch the movie if you are too lazy :p

ok well it is called the autobiography of malcolm x as told by malcolm haley and i repeat for the millionth time it is an AMAZING book i highly recommend it .. right now i am at the part where malcolm is fresh out of prison and is starting to become very passionate about the nation of islam.

No i haven't seen the movie. It's somewhat old (1992) which is probably why i haven't heard about it. It's supposed to be a great movie so i'm gonna get it for sure. I saw pictures of Malcolm X and he's even cuter then Denzel :p It's too bad his life had to end prematurely in such a tragic death!!
hmm no comment on the cuteness stuff :p
but yeah the movie is amazing as well and its based on the book .. one of my favorite movies .. its so sad when he dies :(
it will make you want to read the book :)
