i'm talking about march madness baby!
it's that time of year for the tourney with its bracketology and sweet sixteens and elite eights and final fours and whatever else :)
my older brothers will of course be rooting for their gators since they both attended UF .. imagine how happy they were last year .. will florida repeat?
me being an AUB grad .. i'm neutral .. i just like to watch the games.
my favorite thing is watching the young guys who go on to become NBA players .. one game that comes to mind is the final from a few years ago when duke beat arizona .. i remember i was in highschool at the time and i told a friend to tape it for me .. duke had mike dunleavy and carlos boozer and shane battier .. arizona had gilbert arenas and richard jefferson.
another one that comes to mind is when uconn beat duke a couple of years ago .. ben gordon and emeka okafor both playing well in that one.
and the nba playoffs are not too far off either .. unfortunately the sonics don't stand a chance of getting in but oh well .. this is the best time of year for basketball fans :)
