the new jersey nets just might set the worst record in nba history ... at the moment they have eight wins ... the previous record is nine ... there are 82 games in a season and this one is almost over ... they still have 11 games to go ... now obviously not a lot of fans are coming to the home games ... but some of the few that are have adopted a habit of wearing paper bags on their heads ... it's a way of saying we're ashamed to be here ... the other day the nets owner got into a heated exchange with a fan who was wearing a paperbag on his head ... apparently the owner walked over to the fan and asked him why he was wearing it and the guy responded by saying something along the lines of because the nets are such a great team ... the incident received some media attention so the nets pr people thought of a clever way to counter the negative publicity ... they came up with an offer where fans could trade in their paper bags for goodie bags containing nets merchandise at the next home game ... so did it work?

Nets spokesman Barry Baum said two people accepted the exchange offer by halftime.

then again .. maybe those two people were the only ones in attendance ..

alice in wonderland

i thought the movie was based on the book which i loved ... it isn't ... it's like a sequel ... like what if alice went back to wonderland ... i know it's cliche to say movies are never as good as the book but it's true ... especially when you're completely scrapping the plot and only keeping the title ... this movie is awful ... it's a travesty ... obviously they could not come up with a story as good as the original ... not even close ... although they did keep most of the characters ... but it was a mix of characters from alice in wonderland and through the looking glass at the same time ... so in summary i absolutely hated it ... the only good thing about it was the queens ... everything else was shit ... 3/10 ...

the weather is just awful today ... the sky has an orange color ... cars look like they just came out of ground zero ... and you can't see anything ... it's not as bad the storm we had almost exactly one year ago ... but still ... riyadh weather ... it sucks ... also winter is over and we got absolutely no rain ... it's already hot and it's only going to get hotter from this point on ... i can only imagine how hot it's going to be come july ...

i had an interview today with the gm of a company that shall remain nameless ... imagine my surprise when i walked in to his office to find the former director of sales at the company i currently work at sitting there ... i knew he had joined them ... but i didn't know he was the gm ... anyway he said he would forward my cv to the concerned manager ... and for most of the interview we just gossiped about the company ... who got fired ... who got promoted ... so on ...

hey gang

so i know that i am starting to sound like the boy who cried wolf ... but once again ... i am back ... unless something goes wrong again ... now i know some of you are confused ... why does he keep doing that ... disappearing ... then showing up to say he's back ... only to disappear again ... well i figure i owe you guys ... or should i say girls ... an explanation ... ok so in a nutshell ... i don't have my own internet connection ... i've been using the unsecured network of some poor unsuspecting bastard who lives in our neighborhood ... no idea who he is but God bless him ... anyway one day it went away ... then it came back ... then it went away ... and now it's back again ... so let's huddle up and pray that it stays this time ... and if i do disappear again ... at least now you know why ... and in closing ... i leave you with this ...
