Weeds

weeds is a show about a recently widowed mother that lives in suburbia ... in order to continue supporting her family, she becomes a drug dealer ... selling what ... that's right you guessed it ... weed ... i had seen a few episodes back when i was in college ... they used to bring it on tv ... but i never really got into it ... but recently i borrowed the complete series from a friend ... and more recently i finished watching it ... so as i was saying it's about a recently-widowed-mother-turned-drug-dealer ... played by mary louise parker who is great in the role ... and it doesn't hurt that she is a total babe ... so you get fine acting plus fine ass ... nancy (parker) has two kids she has to support ... silas and shane ... silas is the older one ... he's your typical "OC style" teenager ... whereas shane is younger and kind of a weirdo in an adorable way ... there's also uncle andy who moves in with them ... he's a horny and irresponsible guy ... but he's not a dumbass and he does show the occasional flash of wisdom every so often ... plus nancy can use all the help she can get so he's allowed to stay ... then there are all the other characters who live in agrestic (that's the name of the suburb where the show takes place) ... like councilman doug ... and nancy's uptight friend celia and her dysfunctional family ... nancy's suppliers ... and many others ...

it's kind of an adult show so it's not really for everybody ... but i thought it was hilarious and brilliant so personally i liked it ... i'm not big on series but this was actually a good one ... i do recommend ...
