lately in the news i've been hearing stories from around the world about various ruling political parties putting pressure on the president to resign ... most recently in south africa, where the ruling party asked the president to step down to preserve party unity ...now ... when you're arab ... this all sounds very strange ... almost surreal ... because you always believed that the role of the party is to worship, exalt, idolize, sanctify, glorify, and venerate the leader ... all those things ... holding him accountable is not one of them ... and pressuring him to step down definitely isn't ...

Yeah as an arab I see your point, and it is practically impossible for an Arab to even think about over-ruling a leader. But then again this isn't a democracy, we still do not excersice free will, and untill then we just have to deal with the leaders we've got!!
