i was bored last night with nothing to do ... then i remembered how noura recommended the movie caramel ... so i was like what the hell ... yalla ... so i watched it ...
now i am already familiar with the movie ... i mean i heard about it and i had seen the trailer ... and it got good reviews and what not ... so i had high expectations for it ... unfortunately i didn't like it that much ... i'm sorry noura but it's a hardcore chick flick ... too much estrogen for me ... although the beirut setting and the lebanese accent rajja3ooli il ayyam il khawali ... so that was nice in a nostalgic kind of way ... and nadine labaki is super-sexy ... but overall ... i mean it's not bad ... bas there is no action or suspense or anything like that ... it's just 7aki niswan ... nothing more nothing less ... i guess the best way to describe it is that it's an arabized version of sex and the city ... sans the sex and glamour ... but i will say that the acting is pretty solid ...
so do i recommend it ... i don't know ... if you're a girl you'll probably like it ... but guys - straight guys i should say - are better off staying away from this one ... 5/10 ...

You are right though, I guess for me the story line and the lack of action didn't matter much, I was happy to hear beyrouti accent..I rewind it so many times, I wanted to know where that shop is located but couldn't..

binnisbe la sex and the city i dont think its being aired right now bas ino ksa doesnt control what is aired ya3ni .. if u have a satellite dish or u have a subscription to orbit or showtime u can watch things like sex and the city w adrab kaman .. ya3ni if orbit or showtime decide to show sex and the city 3adi ksa will not interfere ..
as for the movie .. blv it or not i just got it the other day .. i bought 12 movies a couple of days ago and it was one of em .. girly movie i know but i was like yalla whatever hehe i have a feeling i will regret it ..
