ramadan randoms

i went to this mexican place for iftar with my friend yesterday ... they gave us dessert on the house ... i think the fact that we were the only ones there might have had something to do with it ...

they're having a corporate iftar at the holiday inn on saturday ... ooh wee ...

mirinda strawberry is not good ... despite my childhood memories telling me otherwise ... i bought a six-pack the other day out of pure nostalgia ... tried one yesterday and hated it ... now i have five cans in my fridge that are mocking me ...

cocoa butter smells good ...

i finally gave up on the whole idea of trying new places for iftar every day ... unless i'm having iftar with someone then we go somewhere ... but if i'm eating iftar on my own which is usually the case then i just get it from the same place ... dajen ... been getting it from there for the past week now ... and it's always the same order ... one dajen mix sandwich + one chili chicken burger + large plate for the salad bar ... i even get the same salad everyday ... lots of pasta salad + a little bit of chicken salad + pico de gallo + coleslaw + corn + kidney beans ... and pour dressing all over that baby ...

i finally bought some bed sheets that fit my bed ... hooray ...

i haven't touched the playstation since ramadan started ... not once ... i'd like to say that it's indicative of how spiritual i am during this holy month but it isn't ... it's just a coincidence ...

i know it's a cliche topic but seriously ... why do people drive so wrecklessly during ramadan ... especially around iftar time ... it really is a test of biting your tongue so as not to curse and hurt your fast ... dear God forgive me ...

i love how people blame fasting for everything ... including laziness and lack of productivity ... like i'm fasting ... oh you're fasting well why didn't you say so ... well in that case nobody expects you to do any work ... i mean how could you possibly do anything if you're fasting ... ridiculous ...

the only musalsal i'm following is bab el hara ... i know it sucks but i'm watching it anyway ... haven't missed an episode yet ... although i did miss half of the first episode ... anyway ... i hear they're going to make a part four ... i'd like to say that i'm not going to watch it ... but i know i probably will ...

you know that uneasy feeling you get after eating iftar ... also known as feeling stuffed ... just drink green tea ... i recommend lipton's clear green ... it's green tea with mint ... the stuff is fantastic ...

lol what? you're not feeling spiritual enough?

You know, fasting brings out the real person behind the..person :s Geniunely good people will experience serenity and spirituality while bad people, which I'm afraid are the majority, will only experience hunger, fatigue and bad temper!
