for those who are following bab el hara ... am i the only one who found the scene from today's episode when abu hatem's daughters were displayed like merchandise completely tasteless and inappropriate and demeaning to women ... i understand that this is how business was done back then ... but do we really need to perpetuate this type of nonsense ...

It really was weird to watch, too. And I also wonder if girls were as naive as they are portrayed ... For example: Not knowing why the women were visiting, or actually thinking that a man will hit a woman daily just because he is an 'Abaday' lol :P
i agree and i think the show is intentionally or unintentionally perpetuating these silly traditions and gender roles .. i dont like it at all
