i'm not complaining about the fact that everything closes during prayer time in this country ... although ... no i said i'm not going to complain ... but when you only have like six or seven items ... and the cashier tells you to come back after prayer ... even though the adhan still hasn't sounded ... and that means you have to wait around for half an hour just to pay ... then that's just crap ... so i left the basket on the floor and walked out ... stupid carrefour ...
the other day i was at a party at someone's house ... and some people suddenly got up and left ... so i asked my friend ... are they leaving already ... they just got here like an hour ago ... and she told me that they would be back ... they were just going upstairs to watch noor ... ridiculous ...
someone was telling me the other day how the year 2012 is going to be the beginning of a new reality ... it marks the end of the mayan calendar and the beginning of the age of aquarius and i don't know what ... very apocalyptic stuff ... so i googled it ... interesting stuff ... check it out ... by check it out i mean google it yourself ...
i met this girl the other day whose name is 3athba ... you know like pure ... as in miyah 3athba ... never heard that name before ... i still can't make up my mind if it's a pretty name or not ...

Do they keep regular hours during Ramadan? it's a problem if they open late, close for every prayer than close shop early for iftar..
I remember I picked a book last month by mistake,forgot the title, it talked about the mayan calendar and 2012 might be the end..I got scared and returned it loool

no everything changes in ramadan .. the restaurants close all day and open only shortly befoer iftar .. plus office hours change (ours are going to be 9-3 as opposed to the usual 8-5) .. plus the traffic!!! .. and stores are usually open longer into the night i.e. they don't close as early.
the mayan stuff is interesting though .. im not big on horoscopes but i do believe that God created this vast universe with all these planets and stars for a reason .. maybe this is one of those reasons??

why not check it out its very interesting stuff .. btw its not 2012 per se, it actually begins dec 21 2012 so its more like 2013 .. also its not like an overnight thing .. its a gradual shift into a new world age and not necessarily an end-of-days scenario.
