well .. the last time around i got three novels by najeeb mahfouz .. i only read one of them .. as for the other two .. one i started but threw away .. it was terrible .. and the second one was actually interesting but the books were due yesterday .. i could've renewed the interesting one and returned the other two but i returned them all .. i was going to leave after returning them but i decided to go browse .. i got two books ..

this boy's life by tobias wolff .. it's supposed to be really good .. critically acclaimed .. i've seen the movie .. leonardo dicaprio and ellen barkin and robert deniro .. decent flick ..

i also got a book called the simpsons and philosophy .. here is an excerpt of what it says on the back ..
